is commonly believed that the job of painters and decorators is easy
and require few efforts. However, the truth is different. Every
expert painter and decorator is trained and experienced in their job,

appropriately. They clean the walls and ceilings, fill in all cracks

the real paintings begin. Typically, ceilings are painted first. This
is done because when working on the ceilings paint may splatter on
the walls. Painters usually don't cut the edges at this stage and
they paint all edges roughly. The precise cutting of the edges is
done when the walls are painted.
When the ceiling is
completely painted, it is time for the walls. At this stage rollers
are usually used because they save time. Here the professional
painter and decorator has to cut the edges. This task requires great
precision and care. Brushes should be used around light switches and
electrical sockets.
A

limit dirt and grit that requires cleaning. To avoid damaging the
flooring or pieces of furniture, the client or the expert should
cover them prior the painting process.
Some
painters are ready to do the cleaning after they are done with the

It

needed for the painting, i.e. brushes, rollers, ladders, etc. It is
